AUTOCOLLECTION Collector's car fair 3 - 5 May 2013

   

Starting in 1981 with the Autosogno exhibition, which first brought to the fore the great theme of the cars that had made the history of the Mille Miglia, and then with the Autosymbol exhibition and then continuing with the Autostyle exhibition and also with the Ciclomotostar market exhibition and 4X4 Expo, the Novegro Exhibition Park has strongly characterized itself as a recognized meeting place and commercial exchange for collectors of two and four wheels.

AUTOCOLLECTION is the worthy heir of these experiences. Scheduled once a year, usually in the first weekend of May, it brings together cars, accessories, publishing and automobiles in the Novegro pavilions and in the outdoor area, as well as being the occasion for events and initiatives much appreciated by collectors. In particular, the product components of the Exhibition are the following:

- Restorers

- Car showrooms and car dealers

- Dealers of accessories and automobiles

- Private individuals - Publishing

- Bodies, Clubs and Associations

Furthermore, since 2011, AUTOCOLLECTION has reserved a pavilion for special and particularly valuable cars of current production: a way to link contemporary design to that of the greats of the past whose taste and craftsmanship return in today's styles.

A very lively aspect of AUTOCOLLECTION is also represented by the gatherings that can take advantage of the vast garden spaces of the Novegro Park. In this context, the 1st Beauty Competition for leisure and picnic cars was launched last year, entitled "Gardens, gardeners and station wagons". The first prize was won by a nice and perfectly restored 1950s Austin.

The third annual edition of the Exhibition-Exchange of Vintage Cars, Motorcycles and Cycles also takes place in conjunction with AUTOCOLLECTION, in this circumstance more focused on the topic of cars. This initiative with its lively "market" constitutes a further reason for attraction and interest for visitors.

More than five hundred exhibitors are registered in the three annual editions in which the event takes place.

They occupy an indoor area of 12,000 m2. and outdoors of 60,000 m2. As part of the exhibition, which for the value of exchanges and commercial negotiations stands out in the national ranking of events in the sector, a theme of great historical appeal is traditionally set up having as its object two wheels in the February and November editions and four wheels in the of May.

Motor Bike Expo 2013, at Veronafiere from 18 to 20 January 2013

Motor Bike Expo 2013, at Veronafiere from 18 to 20 January 2013, is the largest Italian fair dedicated to special motorbikes, customs and accessories.

The event, open to the public on all three days from 09:00 - 19:00, inaugurates the new year and reawakens the passion for two wheels with a full program of events. (The Motor Bike Expo 2013 program is constantly updated)

Also for this year the cost of the full ticket is 16.00 euros. While the reduced ticket costs 13.00 euros, applied to children aged 6 to 10 and to those accompanying disabled people. The free ticket, however, is granted to children up to 5 years of age and to disabled people over 75%. Tickets are valid for one access only, and there are no tickets valid for multiple accesses or multiple days. The long list of exhibitors suggests that we will review the new models for 2013, and the inevitable specials from the best Italian tuners. A commercial area is added where you can purchase accessories, parts and clothing.

As per tradition, the Motor Bike Expo 2013 hosts the Bike Show. An important challenge among the most beautiful custom motorcycles present at the Verona Fair, which opens the custom panorama for the new season. HOW TO REACH US

BY PLANE: Guglielmo Marconi airport is 40 km from the Ferrara exhibition centre.

BY CAR: From the A13 motorway the exit is “Ferrara Sud”. You enter the Ferrara-Mare highway, which you continue for just 200 m, following the signs for the city center. Turn left and continue for 1 km. At the first roundabout, turn left into Via Veneziani, where there are signs for the fair. At the next roundabout, a further left turn allows you to take Via Delle Fiere, until you reach number 11.

BY TRAIN: For those wishing to arrive by train, the main line to Ferrara is the Bologna-Venice.

Other lines reach the city of Este from Rimini, from Suzzara (MN) and from Codigoro (FE). The fair area is 5 km from the train station.

50,000 m2, 36,000 visitors and 650 exhibitors: these are the numbers from which we start again for the 2013 edition.

And one fact has already changed: almost 70,000 square meters will be occupied by the next edition. In fact, in addition to the 3 traditional pavilions, there is the Oval which will host the entire sports and development department made up of Automotoracing, which has reached its 4th edition this year.

In the "old" pavilions you will continue to breathe the scent of history in all its forms. Clubs, federations, registers, collectors, artists, car showrooms, model makers, private individuals, spare parts, publishing, merchandising and much more will be the ideal setting for large bodies such as ASI and ACI, national and international manufacturers and the queen of this edition: Lamborghini.

From the legendary Miura to the brand new Aventador, the 50 years of the Bolognese company will be retraced at the center of the show, bringing some examples from its museum. But it doesn't end here because on Saturday afternoon, in pavilion 1, the auction held and organized by the S. Carlo Auction House will take place for the first year. Also in pavilion 1 will be the entire area dedicated to model making which, in recent years, thanks to the collaboration with Funtoys, has increasingly grown, guaranteeing the presence of exhibitors from all over Europe.

Finally, in pavilion 3, with an ever-increasing number of exhibitors, the spare parts market will be located as usual, where supply and demand meet and everyone's needs find their own dimension.

As already mentioned, in the Oval there will be space for the modern branch of the event led by Automotoracing, which from this year divides the modern department with the 2nd Piemonte Custom and Expo Tuning Torino.

The future of engines is entrusted to them as long as they always keep an eye on the past so as not to lose their history.
