The Non Woven abrasive disc Grit 180 Medium Ø150x24x10 mm is an abrasive wheel manufactured from premium non woven abrasive material, specifically designed for metal satin finishing, light surface cleaning, fine finishing, deburring and surface preparation. Its 150 mm diameter combined with a 24 mm thickness provides a significantly larger working surface than smaller or thinner discs, delivering improved stability during use and making it ideal for large metal surfaces, profiles, edges, tubes, shaped components and workpieces that require preparation before polishing, painting or further finishing operations. The 180 grit is intended for applications requiring a finer and less aggressive abrasive action than 80 or 120 grit, making it ideal for removing light oxidation, minor scratches, surface marks, light burrs, residues and small imperfections while producing a smooth, even finish. The non woven abrasive structure, also known as a Non Woven Abrasive Disc, provides progressive and controlled abrasive action, adapting easily to flat, curved and irregular surfaces while significantly reducing the risk of deep scratches compared with conventional rigid abrasive discs. The disc is suitable for dry use with moderate pressure on metal, steel, iron, wood, painted surfaces and plastic, making it ideal for professional workshops, metal fabrication, automotive body shops, industrial maintenance, restoration projects and advanced DIY applications. The 10 mm bore is designed for mounting on a tapered mandrel. The tapered mandrel is not included and must be purchased separately or already available. The disc can be used with a standard electric drill fitted with a tapered mandrel or with a bench grinder equipped with a suitable adaptor. The maximum operating speed indicated on the label is 3,000 RPM. It is the ideal solution for professionals looking for a large-format abrasive disc for metal satin finishing, surface cleaning, fine finishing, light oxidation removal, light deburring and material preparation with precise, consistent and professional results.
