Lux Metal PL2 Plastic Polish Fine Polishing Compound is a fine polishing compound specifically developed for plastic, acrylic and polycarbonate surfaces. As the second step in the Plastic Polish system, it is designed to revive lightly dull surfaces, reduce micro-scratches and improve clarity, gloss and surface uniformity.

PL2 Fine is less aggressive than PL1 Hard but offers enhanced polishing performance, making it ideal both as an intermediate step and as a direct treatment for surfaces with light defects.

How It Works and Benefits

The formula of PL2 Fine focuses on light correction and surface refinement. It helps reduce micro-scratches, light haze and loss of gloss, leaving plastic, acrylic and polycarbonate surfaces brighter, clearer and more uniform in appearance.

With an abrasion rating of 2/5 and a polishing rating of 4/5, PL2 delivers an excellent balance between corrective action and finishing performance. When used after PL1 Hard, it refines the surface further; when followed by PL3 Super Fine, it prepares the material for an even higher gloss finish.

Directions for Use

Apply a small amount of product directly onto the surface or onto a suitable cloth or polishing pad. Work evenly across the area until micro-scratches, light haze and dullness are reduced. Remove any residue with a clean, dry cloth.

PL2 may be used as the second stage after PL1 Hard or as the primary treatment on surfaces that do not require heavy correction. For maximum clarity and gloss, follow with PL3 Super Fine.

Avoid excessive pressure and regularly check progress during application.
